PROJECT BACKGROUND
The project investigates the users’ journey of Gaijin Cuisine restaurants from the first step of attracting customers’ attention, the promotion of the brand through digital channels, to the moment when they leave the restaurant happily after the meals, followed by devising the corresponding design proposals. Its social contents include food stories, holiday-themed meals orders, wishes and rewards, etc., so as to expand the fan base of the restaurants.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The project identified the users' needs and their pain points in the user journey study, in which remedial designs were made in details accordingly. The visual design strategy adopted in the project was to maximize the appeal of the food through the use of images and videos, coupled with persuasive promotional articles. The ultimate aim is to continue to arouse the interests of viewers and customers during the difficult pandemic time in Hong Kong.
