Academic pressure is the primary source of stress for students in Hong Kong. In severe cases, it can even cause depression with suicidal tendencies. According to researches, daily meditation and natural water sounds can produce a relaxation effect. We hope this area can help students relax and alleviate their mental stress.
Our project is an Immersive Interactive Installation. Water waves are projected on the wall, which helps our audience to get away from the reality and immerse in meditation. Different types of water sounds are played to help our audience meditate as well. Also, the water ripples on the wall will move along with the audience’s hand movements.
