Blood-Stained Seagull Feathers
PROJECT BACKGROUND
We used 'Splash' and 'Blood-Stained Seagull Feathers' as our themes. The combination of water splashes and pearls represents marine pollution and brings out the problems affecting cultured pearls. In addition, 'seagull feathers stained with blood' use silver to make seagull feathers as the main body of the jewellery piece. Cold enamel is used to make blood, which represents injury and death. The idea is inspired by human pollution of the ocean, which affects the ecological environment of marine life.
