Rethinking Sadness
It’s a journey to face, accept and express sadness
PROJECT BACKGROUND
Death is a sad yet inevitable process in life. As death brings about separation and loss, we are reluctant to face the reality and tend to cover up our sadness. In fact, many people refuse to talk about death. To address the issue of death in a positive way, this project focuses on grief counselling.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The project aimed to hold grief-healing mobile workshops at school to help teenagers go through the grievance process smoothly and recover as quickly as possible. The Black Heart in the main visual represents us, who feel sad, angry, and stressed whenever death event happens. After we have learned to embrace sadness, we can smile and pleasantly return to our normal life.
