PROJECT BACKGROUND

The term embracing denotes a link between people in an act of affection. It also represents the acceptance of ideas or situations with enthusiasm. This project proposes that the site embraces the Stanley community and its activities: family day events, walking along the beach, dog walking, dining, or simply socialising. Since the site is at the opposite side of the main shopping area, the goal of the project is to launch activities that will attract the locals to enjoy nature and the beach and water sports, thereby strengthening the links between the Dragon Boat Association and the community.
